# Fix a LogTen, ForeFlight or MyFlightbook export with missing tail numbers

How to take a logbook export from LogTen Pro, ForeFlight Logbook, MyFlightbook or Excel and fill in tail numbers, aircraft types, ICAO airport codes and block times for every airline flight.

Logbook apps are good at totals and bad at data you never typed. If your airline flying was imported from a schedule, the aircraft column is probably the type, not the registration, and the times are scheduled, not actual. Here is how to fix that without retyping anything.

## Export

- **LogTen Pro:** File, Export, choose CSV. Keep the default columns; extra columns are ignored.
- **ForeFlight Logbook:** More, Logbook, Export, CSV.
- **MyFlightbook:** Logbook, Download, CSV.
- **Excel or Google Sheets:** any sheet with a date column, a flight number column, and from and to columns. Save as .xlsx or .csv.

Column names do not need to match exactly. "Flight #", "Flight Number", "Ident" and "Flt" are all recognised, as are "From", "Origin", "To" and "Destination".

## Upload

Drop the file on [Logbook Fix](/). Within a few seconds you see every flight we read, the lines we set aside (monthly totals, aircraft-type rows, exact duplicates), and anything that needs a look. If your flight numbers are bare (1171 instead of B61171), enter your airline once.

If your export already has some tail numbers, keep them in. The results compare what you logged against the flight record and flag any that differ.

## What comes back

For each airline leg: registration, aircraft type as flown, ICAO codes for both airports, actual out and in times in UTC, block time, and a status. Download it as CSV and import it back into your app, or keep the print-ready record as a standalone reference.

## What it costs

A one-time $25 covers up to 500 flights; larger books are 5 cents a flight beyond that. Legs that come back not found still count (we pay for the lookup either way), but fixing and re-checking them is free.
